Taxi or Mini Bus ServiceFrom Bangkok airport or city to New Beach Guest House Hua Hin is located about 230km south of the airport in Bangkok.  By taxi it takes around 3 hurs in the daytime and 2.5 hours in the late evening.  We can provide a taxi from wherever you need transport.  The driver is reliable and drives safely and speaks English.  The costs have risen slightly in the past year due to the 65% increase in gas and diseal fuel.  Here are the rates. Standard Taxi (1- 2 people & luggage)            Cost   2300  Baht ( might increase a bit) Mini bus(up to 9 people and luggage)               Cost 3000 Baht ( might increase a bit)                                                                                                                                                                             When you order a taxi or minibus to meet you at the airport do the following(you must have given your flight information to us on the reservation form): Come out of customs area, turn left and go to end where you see many people. The driver will be holding a sign with your name on it.  Normally there are many people meeting their guests so look carefully for your name. If you don't see the man, don't panic. Go outside the customs area and keep looking for a man with a sign.   You can also obtain a taxi in the airport that will drive you to Hua Hin.  You will pay more if you get the taxi the vendors inside the airport.  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Air con busses from Bus terminal south in Bangkok Every 30 to 40 minutes there is an air conditioned bus(called Air con bus) going to Hua Hin. By bus it will take about 3.5 hours to make the trip.The cost is less than 200 baht.  It is an interesting trip and perfect for those that like an adventure.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Train from Bangkok or south to Hua Hin  You can find the timetable at: www.srt.motc.go.th  This is a slow train and not airconditioned, unless you take the express that runs only one time per day.  It takes about 4.5 hours by train.  Once arriving at the train station ask one of the many tuk-tuks that are parked there to take you to New Beach Guest House. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Private Jet  If you have your own Jet, you can land at Hua Hin at our small airport.  I doubt, however, if you come this way you will stay in a Guest House.  There is always a first time.   See you soon
